About Us

Who We Are

TECH.tonl is a multimedia performance and production duo focused on pushing the boundaries of sound, technology, and interactive art. Through custom-built audiovisual systems, experimental sound design, and live performance, TECH.tonl creates immersive experiences that blend music, movement, and digital and analog media in real-time.

Our work integrates real-time visualization, motion tracking, and even brainwaves as the basis for performance systems, thus allowing sounds and visuals to evolve dynamically in response to human intuition. Deeply influenced by science, perception & emotion, our projects merge the technical and the theatrical, incorporating elements like including VFX, narrative design, and musical & technical performance into one living, breathing expression.

Ongoing & Notable Projects

• Melismatic Murmurations – A series of electroacoustic improvisations and inspired by starling flocking patterns, blending live electronics, motion data, and one-to-one VFX.

• OCULUS – A multi-movement work combining saxophone and synthesized media, centered on the impact of Hurricane Laura in DeRidder, LA.

• New Experimental Works – Explorations in real-time audiovisual performance using custom interfaces, neuro-music technologies (EEG), and generative systems.
